The Grace of Supervision
About Supervision
The Center for Spiritual Development is offering an eight-week formation program. The Grace of Supervision: Holistic Formation for Supervision, an integrative approach to help participants:

Discern and connect with the vocation of supervision

Promote awareness of self as a supervisor

Develop and enhance foundational skills for supervision
The program will meet in person every Wednesday evening beginning January 17, 2024, excluding February 14, and ending March 13, 2024. Each session is scheduled 6 – 8 p.m. and will include conversation covering and reflecting on outside reading, presentation, and group process and
practicum. In addition to the outside reading, there is personal reflection and preparation for each session. The cost for the program is $1,500.
Who May Apply?
The program is open to individuals of all cultures and faith traditions who feel called to the ministry of supervision and wish to receive formal training.

Be active in a faith community

Be committed to a life of prayer and discernment
APPLICATION MUST INCLUDE:
Participants are required to have at least two years of experience as a spiritual director, and to be in spiritual direction and supervision (individual or group).

A statement of intent identifying your desire and call to supervision.

Two letters of recommendation

One from your Spiritual Director

One from Mentor, Congregational Leader, Pastor, Rabbi (someone who can comment on your spiritual journey and desire to be a supervisor)

Enclosed $150 non-refundable application fee
Space is limited, so if you wish to participate in this program, please ensure that your application package is submitted by the November 30, 2023, deadline. Following the review of your application, we will extend interview invitations to eligible candidates.
