Art Expressions: The Wonderful Happens ~ Shaped by God

Spend a day experiencing wonder! Awaken the child within you and discover anew Jesus’ message that the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like children. (Mark 10:13-16) Learn to live in the present moment, in alert expectation for the wonder all about you and within you. 

Learn to SEE through contour drawings of your hand, shells, flowers, leaves, seeds, and anything in nature you discover, including the wonder of your unique fingerprint.

Learn to HEAR as you wander the gardens, listening to the sounds all about you.

MOLD and CREATE with CLAY. Explore the wonder of your uniqueness as you slow down and remember your belovedness in the hands of the potter. No art experience is needed!

About the Presenter:

Glenda Campos is a certified spiritual director through Christian Formation and Direction Ministries in the Pacific Northwest and Loyola Institute of Spirituality in Orange, CA. Glenda’s experiences include many years of teaching, faith formation for adults, individual and group spiritual direction, along with art and writing retreats and workshops. Her main interests are the merging of art and spirituality with an emphasis on visual arts, the incorporation of various art mediums and writing the stories of your life to discover traces of God’s grace.
