Event Details
Advent recalls God’s generosity graciously reflected in Mary’s “Yes!” and Joseph’s embrace of God’s dream to birth Jesus’ present among us. Now YOU are invited to prepare the way of the Lord by joining in this time of prayerful receptivity to this precious season of waiting for the fullness of God in Jesus and in us.
The abundance and generosity of God is celebrated this year on the feast of St. Nicholas, whose reputation reveals great concern for the needs of his people and a model of God’s great generosity.
This retreat morning begins with 9 a.m. Mass with the Sisters of St. Joseph, followed by a continental breakfast, reflection on the generosity of God, and surprises from St. Nicholas.
As an act of generosity, please bring canned and packaged food for the Cantley Food Pantry.
